AROUND THE HOUSE

68 . Start a herb garden.
69 . Grow a nice, grassy lawn
70 . Get rid of anything we don't use and is still unpacked after 6 months (by July 2010)
71 . Go through all clothes and donate to charity or recycle anything we don't need.

PROGRESS REPORTS

30/6/2010 Have to say that by the end of May, the grass was well and trully grown, and we officially have a lawn!! Granted, there are some patches, since we used seed, but we can fix those up with a bit more seed. Am loving the lawn!

30/6/2010 Small herb garden outside, in planters: parsely
Inside on the kitchen window sill - lemon balm.
Also lots of tomatoes, and a zucchini plant in the yard are coming along well. Can start our own farmers market soon if things go well ;)

9/1/2011 Well, over summer the seed lawn started to die off, so we started again with turf. This time -- real success :)

The herb garden also lost its umph once the cold hit. Is this usual, or just useless of us?? So I guess we try again when it warms up.
